Texas Wake was established to promote the culture of wakeboarding and facilitate an individual’s ability to participate in the great sport. We are the official wakeboarding team of UT Austin.
The main focus of the team is to bring together wakeboarders, and wakesurfers at UT. This is done by introducing new people to the sport, holding various social events, and by being involved in the local community. Texas Wake hosts events monthly for members and friends. Some of these events include parties, team dinners, competitions with campouts, and a ski/snowboard trip to Colorado.
We welcome members of all levels from beginner to advanced and everywhere in between. No experience necessary!! At the heart of Texas Wake is the team's goal of furthering the enjoyment of the sport for all its members, as well as building enduring friendships amongst them.

We are excited to announce that this semester our members will receive semester passes to the cable park, Next Level Ride! Our members have the option of both wakeboarding and wakesurfing during each boat pull and will get approximately 30 min of ride time. Equipment will be provided for you at the cable park and on the boat.
